Formula Uno - Leopoldstrasse 7, 80802 Munich, Germany
Leopoldstrasse 7, Tel. 089 332 000
This place used to be Café Extrablatt and it was a famous spot in Munich. I do not know when or why it changed. But it was definitely before Michael Schumacher won his world title with Ferrari in 2000. Talking about Ferrari, there is a replica of an old one outside under glass protection, which looks too small to be real but too real to be a replica.
Although Formula Uno is named after my favourite sport, I absolutely do not recommend watching a Formula 1 Grand Prix here, because there are only two ridiculously small TV screens. Can you watch a Grand Prix on these thumbnail screens? Don't try and fool me.

Thumbnail screens? I won't settle for anything less than 32 inch LCD tv.
Posted by: Gal at 10:43 am on 5.Feb.2009the comment about the screen size is NO LONGER true. They now have a large flat screen in the front and an even larger pull-down in the back. And they do NOT turn down the volume. It is kept loud enough to hear the engines over the restaurant noise. Great place to watch a race, and decent food as well!! Much better than any experience I had at the Arc.

That can't be very healthy and no one was even shooing them away. Surely the health authorities should be worrying about something like that. I won't be eating there again.
