July 4th celebrations in Berlin

Hi! I looked for a topic, but didn't see one - sorry if it already exists.

Does anyone have plans for July 4th?? I'm moving to Berlin tomorrow and don't know anyone yet, I think it'd be a great way to meet new people and make new friends

(maybe since July 4th is not a weekend we could celebrate it either a weekend early or a weekend late)

ps - this is open to everyone, don't think you can't respond cause you don't celebrate american independance day.

Hey! American here - just heard about this as well - could be fun in the later afternoon and evening? Starts around 3pm, and then goes all night Hairy Mary's is having an evening party as well. Also heard there was a party at the Brandenburg Gate during the day?

Hello All. I tried to create a list of all the 4th of July events going on in Berlin. Is there anything I missed?

I live around the block from Hairy Marys' and plan to stop by tonight for a beer and hot dog.

We are already having an amazing BBQ and party on the 6th floor of the Hotel, on the Presidential Club Lounge Terrace, which has tables both outdoors and indoors in case it rains. There will be signs in the lobby to tell you where to go.

As this is Independence Day, I ask that everyone wear their best red, white and blue.
If you're a wannabe, and don't have the right gear, no worries.
You also have permission to bring stuff to decorate, so bring your flags if you have them. Please no fireworks.

One last IMPORTANT bit: Please RSVP firmly and as soon as possible as food will need to be planned in advance.
