What does this mean? Surely they can't be free?

Recently looking on scout24 I found this advert and similar here

What does the ad mean what does it refer to
It says under price 0€ I know property in berlin is cheap but free

Thanks
tom_a
Presumably the seller doesn't want to give a price indication...
DMcinDE
It says the price is negotiable (Verhandlungssache) and they are seeking offers (Ihr Gebot)...so they will have put the price at €0 since there isn't a fixed price...
bobD
some hilarious pun on scottish prices?
Hazza
It's 4 flats in 1 building and it's the whole building that's for sale as opposed to the individual flats. The price is negotiable and any prospective buyers should make an offer.

That's why there's 17 rooms. It's the total of all the rooms of all 4 flats.

but I have seen other one one the site putting a price of 5€ or so
Do they not have asking prices on them
marie-claire
They may do that to turn up on top of your search list when you say list properties by price - which many people do. It is a bit of a sneaky way to generate more viewers for their property.
MrNosey
Exactly.

The properties will go for a hell of a lot more than €0 or €5.
