Hi,
anybody know what an egg poacher is called in German? I've tried Beolingus (Chemnitz dictionary, very good normally) and various logical-thinking words in German, but no joy. I believe the word for poaching (eggs, for instance) is "pochieren" but pochiergerät, pochierphfanne, don't seem to work. I could try "ze liddle zing vot yu put zee ecks in to kook zem in hot vater" I suppose, but Beolingus only accepts up to three word phrases.
Thanks

Something like this?
http://www.tempsl.com/de/kuche/kochen/2-ei...ierer/4979.htmlYou could also try
ebay. If you type in egg poacher it'll give you several results from the UK. Not sure how much shipping would be but if it's not too much, it might be worth it to buy from there.

Is it the same thing as an egg coddler? We don't have any term for it here in Germany, because it's no usual method to cook eggs. Jenaer Glas produced the
Eierkoch, but I think only German cook maniacs know the term ;-)
