Good Time - Berlin

One of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to in the world (and that includes Thailand). Great fresh ingredients and excellent presentation. Can be on the expensive side, but I think it is worth it.

Excellent Thai restaurant and very high quality food and service. Reservations are recommended as it is very popular, however on times you can hit it lucky as we did last friday evening and got a table on spec. It is a bit pricier than other places but certainly worth it for a special ocasion.

Went for lunch this week and Was Not Favorably Impressed. The food was bland on one end (soup), burnt on the other (main course). The milk shake was served at room temperature, not many choices on the menu. They seemed rather overpriced, and I was disappointed. I'd heard good things about the restaurant, but the nicest thing I can say is that they had cool silverware and neatly folded napkins on the table. Could be because I went at lunch, could be a bad cook - but I won't be going back any time soon.

I was at this place, as I live close by. My God, this was not for me. The milk shake is suppose to be cold, this was not. The food, well the soup tasted like warmed up kikkoman sauce with unidentified chunks in it. The chicken looked nice on the plate, but tasted bland and some of it looked kinda unappatizing. But like Rose said, they get an A for presentation. I will probably end up somewhere else next time.

I have only been to the one at Hausvogtieplatz (I'm sure I spelled that incorrectly) and loved the atmosphere, food and people. Seems like it might be a little bigger than the one pictured here. Menu items are described in English and there was lots to choose from. For a restaurant of this type I didn't find it over expensive. The garnish is extraordinary.

Boy has this place changed.Here used to be for me one of the best Thai restauants in Berlin in taste, price and service. However we went there with a reservation, they have taken all the old Thai ornaments and furniture out and basically turned it into a cantine style seating: white formica tables: IKEAesque. The table next to us was so close that we actually ebded up hearing every single word of each others conversation. The food, give it is due was tasty, ok but not to the same high quality as before but after waiting nearly 30 minutes for a second drink we gave up and just paid the bill. Another popular restaurant in Mitte that is just concentrating on getting as many people in the door as possible compromising on ambiance and service. I think it will be a while before I re-visit.

Been here a couple of times. Overrated, overpriced. The little place that is in the cluster of restaurants a little further on at the start of Oranienburger str (not sure of name. is much better, at least for lunch)... Hate these designy type places with poor food.
