Taco Loco - Cologne

The service at Taco Loco was incredible, the drink variety was very impressive, the prices were good. The food however was absolutely horrible, I have never had Mexican food that tasted quite so bad. Avoid the nachos or anything you would think to have cheese as they cover it with Gouda - a weird combination. If you want great drinks this is the place, if you would like great food... think again.

I went to Taco Loco a couple of weeks ago while visiting Cologne for a few days. I agree with nowandlainers about the incredible service - really fast and attentive, and they made sure I was stocked up with a fresh drink before Happy Hour finished. Unlike nowandlainers, however, I actually found the food pretty good. It wasn't outstanding, and was more Tex-Mex than Mexican, but I'd definitely rate it as one of the better Mexican-style restaurants I've visited in Germany. I'll definitely go there again if I'm ever back in Cologne.

I'm so glad to here this.. I completely miss Mexican food and didn't think it could be found in Germany!! Its sad about the cheese though, but I have to go visit this place when I visit Cologne. Thanks :)
